The main interest of this text, which presents mythological hints, is twofold. First of all, it seems to be at the junction of two different sources of inspiration : a private one (Book of the Dead), and a royal one (mainly The Book of the Amduat). On the other hand, this text could provide a key to understand the general meaning and organisation of the liturgical appendix of the Greenfield Papyrus, which is a huge group of texts, mainly hymns, added to the more traditional Book of the Dead of Pinedjem’s daughter.Show less >
