Assuming the weak anisotropy, that can be realized e.g. in Lead Zirconate Titanate close to morphotropic point, we show that vortex-like polarization texture can be induced by the applied field during the polarization reversal. In addition to intrinsic crystalline properties, the switching process is strongly influenced by the external geometrical parameters, such as: quality of the surface, electrode shape, sample geometry etc.Show less >
