Specific examples, fully developed in the next chapters of this book, are shortly presented in this chapter. Other examples using this general interface response theory appear also in the following books of this interface transmission tutorial book series. This theory is first presented for discrete systems with a matrix mathematical formulation. Then the case of continuous systems described by differential equations is given. In this case the response functions are the classical Green’s functions. Finally the case of partly discrete and partly continuous composite systems is also discussed.Lire moins >
