We find a thresholdin impact speed above which a small amount of liquid protrudes the grid and emerges to the other side. For small gridspacings, the emerging liquid takes the form of micro-droplets which size is about the size of the grid step. We propose amethod to produce either a mono-disperse spray or a single tiny droplet of sub-nanoliter volumeShow less >
