We distinguish between chronic spontaneous urticaria(CSU) and inducible urticaria (IU), for which the symptoms aretriggered by physical factors. The management of CU is currently based on second-generationantihistamines (anti-H1) with the dose increased up to 4-fold. In thecase of treatment failure, omalizumab (OMZ) may be prescribed[1]. OMZ does not have marketing authorization for IUs and only asmall number of series and phase 2 trials are available concerningits efficacy. The objective of our study was to assess the efficacy ofOMZ in real life in patients with IU.Show less >
