Enteroviruses are common pathogens in neonates and have been associated with outbreaks in neonatal units. Enterovirus-associated necrotizing enterocolitis has been described in 3 preterms. Spatiotemporal and molecular analyses have provided evidence of nosocomial transmission.Show less >
