Electric Vehicles have a limited range in comparison with thermal vehicles. Moreover, their auxiliaries, such as the heating system, can have a great impact on their autonomy. In a previous work, a dynamic model of the traction and the thermal behavior of an electric vehicle has been developed to study the impact of its heating system. In this paper, different simplifications of this thermal model are proposed. The different models are discussed in terms of accuracy of the energy consumption and also of the computation time.Show less >
