The classical mathematical approaches are first recalled and a graphical approach which is based on causality, structural properties of bond graph models and some concepts of module theory is proposed. A particular attention is concerned with the study of invariant zeros which play an important role for the stability property of the system. An example with time varying parameters is proposed.Show less >
