Sufficient conditions are provided under which a periodical switching law is proposed to guarantee the asymptotical stability of the origin. The new result is applied to target aggregation of multi-agent systems in leader-following structure with switching connection topology, where each following agent may run far away from the target without cooperation. An aircraft team example illustrates the efficiency of the proposed approach.Show less >
