Both intrinsic features and related technologies of this operating frequency are detailed and the specific topology of this communication and geolocalization system is introduced. The performance of this low-power consumption system is validated experimentally. The emitter exhibits an energy efficiency down to 10 pJ/bit and data rates up to 10 Mbps.
