Show less >

To do so, we propose to analyze Marx’s productivism as a conceptual device combining an explanatory and a normative aspect, a device whose meaning and significance can only be fully understood by referring to its ontological background, being as production. If this device is particularly effective in understanding the ins and outs of the productivist pathology that is at the heart of the capitalist mode of production, it seems to suggest that this critique exhausts any critique of productivism, leaving the question of productivism as a blind spot in the horizon of the communist utopia.Show less >
