We discuss from the Geography of Education andInstitutional Analysis, as the proposed spaces are inscribed in systems of norms that participate and influencethe way children interact with these spaces. We focused on the Educational Centers of Public Education (CIEPs),a standardized state model of 500 units built during the 1980s, as well as day care centers in the municipality ofSão José dos Campos to elucidate the proposed debate. We seek to reflect on how the standardization of thephysical dimension of spaces impacts (or gives rise to) the standardization of the childhoods that they will help to produce. Based on examples, we conclude that children's authorship goes beyond standardizing norms, producing the spatial marks of diversity that are constitutive of the production of geographic space.Lire moins >
