The copolymerization of myrcene and isoprene has been achieved through statistical copolymerization, with yields of up to 84%. This process allows the insertion of isoprene into poly(1,4-trans-myrcene) while maintaining the regio and stereoselectivity of the reaction, even in the presence of high quantities of isoprene. These findings have important implications for the development of new materials with enhanced properties and demonstrate the potential of this copolymerization method for future applications.Show less >
